Services for Partners and Families

The Fellows’ partners and children are an important part of the community that forms in the course of the academic year in Grunewald district. So the Kolleg offers accompanying partners, too, the support of the Library, the IT Services, and the institute’s other services and the installation of a workplace. Partners are equally welcome at the Colloquia, lectures, meals, concerts, and events that are organized for the Fellows in and around Berlin.

The Kolleg is also happy to help in mediating contacts to other research facilities and/or institutions in Berlin.

Special attention is given to Fellows who come to Berlin with their children. The Fellow Services aid Fellows in seeking suitable schools and kindergartens and organize childcare during Thursday dinners.
