The Dynamics of Collective Decisions
13.–14. Februar 2020
Collective decisions occur across diverse living systems and have diverse characteristics, with differing degrees of consensus, structures of control, and speeds of change. Yet there are hints of broader principles at work: behavioral contagion, cascades of information flow, specialization into hierarchies, and dynamics for adapting to different situations. In this workshop, we bring together experts from social science, neuroscience, animal behavior, psychology, and cell biology to discover areas of overlap.
